How to open AVIF and get a regular picture
AVIF is found among images from the Internet. Converting to JPG or PNG helps to transfer the image to an application that does not accept AVIF.
Check browser support
AVIF decoding is performed by the browser. If the file doesn't open, update your browser or try an AVIF-enabled app. Even with a recognized format, a corrupted or unsupported version of the file may not be decoded.
Select the result
JPG is suitable for photography; PNG is suitable for images with transparency. For publication, you can choose WebP, for sending a document — PDF. The format is determined by the content, so a simple renaming of the source is not required.
What is not transferred
The service works with static AVIF. Animation, HDR, and original metadata are not preserved. Saving the result in AVIF has not been implemented yet.
