How to combine AVIF into one PDF

Add files, select a PDF for the entire queue and the "One shared Document" mode. Rearrange the images with the arrows, then click "Convert". Each accepted image will become a separate page.

What to consider

AVIF decoding support in the browser is required. Animated AVIFs are not accepted; HDR, metadata, and original color profiles are not preserved.

How the image is saved

Inside the PDF, a JPEG with 92% quality is used. The transparent background turns white; the page retains the proportions of the image. OCR, text search and editable fields are not added.

When to choose a PDF

A static AVIF image can be placed in a PDF to be sent as a document. The browser first decodes the image, then creates a page with its proportions.

Frequent questions

Is it possible to download individual PDF files?

Yes, this mode is selected by default. Documents are available individually or by a shared ZIP archive.

Is it possible to add other formats to the same document?

Yes, the supported images can be mixed. For all files, select PDF to include the shared document.

What new formats are supported?

BMP, GIF, static AVIF and regular TIFF can be converted to JPG, PNG, WebP or PDF. Only the first frame is saved for a GIF, and the first page is saved for a TIFF. TIFF: RGB, grayscale or palette, LZW compression, ZIP, PackBits or uncompressed; BigTIFF, tiles, CMYK and fax compression are not supported yet. AVIF requires a browser with support for decoding it.

Where are my photos uploaded to?

Nowhere. The conversion is performed in your browser. We do not send photos to the server and do not save them in the account. When the page is closed or refreshed, the queue and results disappear.

What limitations does the converter have?

Up to 20 files at a time, up to 30 MB each and up to 100 MB in total. Images up to 50 megapixels are supported. The speed depends on the device. On a phone, it's better to start with a small package and keep the tab open.

Is the location and date of the shooting saved?

EXIF, geolocation, and other metadata are not transferred. HDR and additional Live Photo frames are not saved: the result is a normal static image. The originals remain unchanged.
