Is it possible to save a transparent background in JPEG?
No. JPEG does not support alpha transparency. For a transparent background, choose PNG.
Why did the white background appear
When converting a transparent PNG or WebP to JPG, our converter places the image on a white background. This allows you to save the result in a format without transparency.
How to maintain transparency
If the original PNG or static WebP already contains transparency, select PNG in the result settings. Do not convert such a file to JPG at the intermediate step: transparent areas will be replaced by the background.
Is it possible to remove the background from JPEG by changing the format
No, it's not. Saving a JPEG to a PNG does not separate the object from the background. To remove an already drawn white or colored background, you need a separate editing tool, which is not available here yet.
