How to open WebP and save to JPG or PNG
WebP is an image format. If the application does not accept such a file, convert it to JPG for a photo or PNG for a transparent background.
Why WebP was downloaded
The site can send the image to WebP, so the uploaded file has this extension. Completion .A JPG to the name does not change the content: for a different format, decoding and re-saving are needed.
JPG or PNG
JPG is convenient for photos without transparency. PNG preserves already transparent areas and does not add lossy compression after decoding. In our converter, JPG is created with 92% quality and a white background.
Pictures and documents
